Artists are everywhere

Anyone can make a tree.

The trees of The Black Rock Forest come from established artists, budding artists, and even some folk who have never identified themselves as artists (until now).

The tree that is the Burning Man artist community nurtures new growth. Established roots nourish, and strong branches support nascent artists and fresh ideas. We support each other.

Meet Keith Williamson, a semi-retired aerospace engineer and budding artist from Reno Nevada who has helped other artists create wonderful pieces, and now he has created his own tree. And it is beautiful!

His tree is called the RockeTree and incorporates elements of wood and LEDs which interact with visitors and with the wind to create an ever-changing experience. A wonderful work of art.
